These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “Terms”) define the rights and obligations of Château Brachet and its clients in the context of booking and using the services offered by the establishment.
Any reservation made with Château Brachet implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, as well as the specific conditions applicable to the rate selected at the time of booking.

Château Brachet offers accommodation, dining, and related services.
Booking
Reservations may be made directly with Château Brachet or through the various booking channels offered by the establishment.
To guarantee the reservation, the client must provide accurate and complete information, including their contact details and any information necessary for the smooth running of their stay.
A booking confirmation is sent to the client once the reservation has been validated.
The reservation becomes final once the applicable rate conditions have been accepted and, where required, once the requested deposit has been paid.
Rates
Prices are shown in euros (€), all taxes included, excluding tourist tax unless otherwise stated.
Applicable rates are those displayed at the time of booking.
Any additional services consumed during the stay (extras) are charged separately.
Cancellation, modification, and payment conditions may vary depending on the rate chosen by the client. The applicable specific conditions are indicated before the reservation is finalized.
Payment terms
For reservations requiring prepayment, a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total stay amount, excluding additional services (extras), is charged at the time of booking.
The balance of the stay, along with any additional services consumed on site, is paid directly to the establishment.
Payments are made in euros (€).

Cancellation and modification conditions
Cancellation, modification, and refund conditions depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.
Each rate offered by Château Brachet has its own specific conditions, which are communicated to the client before the reservation is confirmed and reiterated in the confirmation sent by the establishment.

Promotional rates, special offers, and any non-refundable rates may be subject to different conditions.
These specific conditions are communicated to the client before the reservation is validated and apply upon confirmation of the booking.
Arrival and departure
Unless otherwise stated:
Château Brachet’s reception is open 24 hours a day.
Any request for early arrival or late departure will be subject to availability and may result in an additional charge.
Tourist tax
Tourist tax applies in accordance with current regulations.
It is charged in addition to the room rate and must be paid by the client to the establishment.
The amount indicated at the time of booking is subject to change in accordance with decisions made by the relevant authorities.
Stays with children and cots
Children are welcome at Château Brachet.
Cots may be made available upon request, subject to availability.
The rate for a cot is €15 per night.
The establishment has 4 cots available. It is recommended to make the request at the time of booking.
Pets
Pets are welcome at Château Brachet.
A surcharge of €30 per pet, per night will apply.
The presence of a pet must be indicated at the time of booking to ensure the best possible arrangements for their stay.
Client responsibility
The client is responsible for their use of the equipment and facilities made available during their stay.
Any damage caused intentionally or resulting from inappropriate behavior may be charged to the client.
The client also agrees to respect the peace and quiet of other guests present at the establishment.
Establishment’s responsibility
Château Brachet is committed to taking all necessary care to ensure the quality of the services offered.
However, the establishment’s liability cannot be engaged in the event of circumstances beyond its control or in cases of force majeure.
In particular, the establishment cannot be held liable for temporary service interruptions resulting from exceptional circumstances or necessary works.
Force majeure
Château Brachet cannot be held liable for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations when this results from an event constituting force majeure within the meaning of French regulations.
Protection of personal data
The personal information collected during a reservation is necessary for processing and managing the client’s stay.
Château Brachet is committed to processing this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The client has the right to access, rectify, object to, restrict, and erase their personal data, under the conditions provided for by applicable regulations.

Complaints and consumer mediation
In the event of any difficulty concerning a service, the client is invited to send a written complaint to Château Brachet in order to seek an amicable solution.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
